Combining gourds with papercutting can be a natural. Both are plant-based and readily available. Both can be inexpensive to pursue, but made into elaborate pieces of art making them the best of both worlds!

Christianity and Oppression
It is a twist of fate that the very people who wanted the slaves to be subservient are the ones who tried to promote Christianity, the religion of longstanding rebellion against tyranny and cruel authority.
